Endebess Estate producers a coffee that is a delightful blend carrying with it a rich history and a commitment to excellence. Nestled at an altitude of 1600 to 1800 meters above sea level, the Endebess Estate is a picturesque farm renowned for its exceptional coffee production. The farm’s captivating journey began in the 1940s when the D’Ollier family owned and operated the estate. They not only cultivated their own coffee but also provided processing and milling services to small-scale farmers in the surrounding areas.In 1976, the farm transitioned into the capable hands of Gatatha Farmers Co Ltd, who continued the legacy of producing remarkable coffee. However, in September 2011, the farm underwent a change of ownership, and the torch was passed to the current proprietors. These new owners, passionate about upholding the farm’s esteemed reputation, have dedicated themselves to preserving its heritage while nurturing its future growth.This coffee is meticulously crafted through a natural processing method, ensuring a distinctive and captivating flavour profile. The cherries are naturally dried over a period of 21 to 35 days, allowing their flavours to develop fully, resulting in a truly remarkable cup of coffee.Beyond its commitment to producing exceptional coffee, the cooperative places great importance on the welfare of its employees and the local community. The farm actively engages in social initiatives, such as sponsoring two high school students, with the hope of expanding the program in the future. This dedication to the betterment of their community reflects the farm’s values and reinforces the deep-rooted connection between Endebess Estate and the people who bring its coffee to life.
